TikTok Profile Template (New 2026 Layout)

TikTok redesigned the profile page in September 2026: name and username on the left, photo on the right, a full-width Follow button and a single grid tab. This free template recreates the new layout in your browser so you can preview your own name, bio and numbers, flip back to the classic layout, and copy the sizes for Figma or Canva.

In one answer

This is a free TikTok profile template of the September 2026 redesign: an editable, browser-rendered mockup of the new profile page (left-aligned display name and username, 96pt profile picture on the right, Following / Followers / Likes row, full-width Follow button, bio, link, and a 3-column 3:4 video grid) with a toggle to the classic centered layout and a copyable spec sheet. No signup, nothing uploaded. Fastlane, the tool behind it, fills that grid: paste a website URL and it generates short-form videos and publishes them natively to TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and LinkedIn. Free plan, no credit card.

The redesign turns the profile from a centered card into a left-aligned header, so the first thing a visitor reads is your name, then your numbers, then the Follow button. Your bio still has 80 characters, and your grid is still what decides whether they tap it.

How the tiktok profile template works

1

Type your details into the template

Display name (30 characters), username (24), bio (80), link and your three counts. The mockup re-renders as you type, with counters so nothing gets cut off in the app.

2

Toggle between new and classic

Flip between the September 2026 layout and the old centered one to see exactly what moved, then screenshot the version you need for a deck, a client or a design file.

3

Copy the spec sheet

One click copies the sizes we measured from the live app (profile picture, type, buttons, grid) as plain text you can paste into Figma, Canva or a brief.

4

Fill the grid with Fastlane

The grid is the part of the profile that earns the follow. Paste your website URL into Fastlane and it generates short-form videos and publishes them natively to TikTok, Reels, Shorts and LinkedIn on a schedule.

What changed in the September 2026 TikTok profile redesign

The old profile was a centered card: photo at the top, username under it, stats and buttons centered beneath, bio centered under those. The new profile is a left-aligned header. Your display name is now the biggest text on the page, set large in the top left with the username in grey directly under it, and the profile picture has moved to the right-hand side at 96pt. The Following, Followers and Likes row sits under the name instead of under the photo.

The buttons changed shape too. Follow is now a full-width red pill that runs the width of the screen, with two round icon buttons beside it (message and add friend) instead of the old square ones. The bio and link are left-aligned under it. The row of content tabs (videos, reposts, favourites, liked) has collapsed into a single grid icon with a dropdown caret, so the grid starts higher on the screen than before.

The grid itself did not change: three columns, portrait 3:4 tiles, play count bottom-left, caption overlaid, slideshow posts marked with a stacked icon in the corner. Read top to bottom, the new page works like a feed card: name, proof (numbers), action (Follow), context (bio), then content.

Sizes and spacing, measured from the live app

On iOS the header uses 16pt side padding, a 34pt bold display name, a 16pt grey username, and a 96pt circular profile picture aligned to the top of the name. Stats are 20pt bold numbers over 15pt grey labels. The Follow button is 40pt tall and fully rounded in TikTok red (#FE2C55), flanked by two 40pt circles. The bio is 16pt, the tab row is a single centered grid icon with a 48pt underline, and the grid runs three columns of 3:4 tiles with 2pt gutters. The full list is in the spec sheet inside the tool, one click to copy.

We measured these from an iPhone screenshot at 3x and rounded to the nearest point, so treat them as close, not canonical. TikTok ships layout changes in stages and Android spacing differs by a point or two.

How to set up your profile for the new layout

Your display name now does the work the photo used to do. It is the largest text on the page, so use your actual name or brand name, not a tagline, and keep it under 30 characters so it stays on one line. The username still matters for search and mentions: 24 characters, letters, numbers, underscores and periods.

Treat the bio as three short lines inside the 80-character limit: what you post, who it is for or where you are, and the link on its own line (it renders in bold and is the only tappable thing under the button, so make it your site). The profile picture is smaller relative to the header than it was, so a face or a logo with strong contrast reads better than a busy image. Pinned videos still take the first row of the grid.

The grid decides the follow

The redesign puts your name, numbers and the Follow button on the first screen, and the grid on the second. Every tile shows its play count, so a thin or stale grid under a strong header reads as abandoned, and a full grid of recent videos is the proof that the Follow button is worth tapping.

That is the part Fastlane is built for. Paste your website URL and it generates short-form videos about your product in four formats (AI UGC with 1,000+ characters, hook + demo, slideshows, memes) from a library of 25,000+ trending videos, then publishes them natively to TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and LinkedIn on a schedule. One customer video has passed 36 million views. Free plan, paid plans from $29 per month, no credit card to start.

Frequently asked questions

Is this the official TikTok profile template?

No. It is an independent recreation of the profile layout TikTok rolled out in September 2026, built from the live iOS app so designers and brands can mock up a profile before changing it. TikTok does not publish an official profile template.

Can I download it as a Figma or Canva file?

Copy the spec sheet from the tool and rebuild it in a few minutes, or screenshot the mockup at the size you need. We kept it as a live web template so it stays current when TikTok tweaks the layout.

What are the TikTok profile limits after the update?

Display name 30 characters, username 24 characters (letters, numbers, underscores and periods), bio 80 characters, one link. The redesign did not change any of them.

Does the new layout look the same on Android?

The structure is the same: left-aligned header, photo on the right, full-width Follow button, single grid tab. Font sizes and spacing differ by a point or two, and TikTok rolls updates out in stages, so some accounts still see the classic layout for a while.

How do I make my grid look full?

Post consistently. Fastlane turns your website URL into short-form videos (AI UGC, hook + demo, slideshows, memes) and publishes them to TikTok, Reels, Shorts and LinkedIn on a schedule, so the grid never sits empty. Free plan, no credit card.
