How to Post on TikTok through Fastlane

Fastlane supports two posting methods:

A. Send to Inbox
B. Direct Posting to TikTok

This guide covers both.

Option A: Inbox

Step 1. Schedule to Inbox in Fastlane

1. In Fastlane, after hitting Schedule, select Send to Inbox

2. Press Next

3. Choose your date and time

4. Press Schedule Post

Your video is now safely queued to TikTok Inbox.

Step 2. Post via TikTok Inbox

1. Open the TikTok app
   Make sure you are logged into the connected account.
   
   

2. Go to Inbox
   Tap Inbox in the bottom navigation.
   
   

3. Open System notifications
   Tap System notifications.
   
   

4. Tap the Fastlane notification
   You will see a message like:
   “TikTok platform: Your video…”

Tap it to open the video.

5. Add audio if needed
   Tap Add sound to select trending or original audio (highly recommended if you're posting a slideshow. Skip if audio was already selected in Fastlane.
   
   

6. Tap Next
   
   

7. Edit caption
   Adjust caption, hashtags, or mentions if needed.
   
   

8. Tap Post
   The video is now live and posted natively.

Option B: Direct Posting

This method publishes automatically without opening the TikTok app.

How to Direct Post

1. After hitting Schedule, Select Direct Posting
   
   

2. Set Privacy to Public
   
   

3. Enable all interactions (Tick all three boxes)
   
   

4. Add title and description
   
   

5. Choose date and time
   
   

6. Press Schedule Post
   
   

The post will publish automatically at the selected time.
